Hi Everyone,

Two years ago I picked up this 68 Cutlass S through a friend’s dad down in TJ for a song. It had all the paperwork & receipts going back to that early 80s in the trunk with all the stuff that had been done to it, rebuilt engine transmission front and rear end pretty much everything but the body and the interior. Reason why I got it for so cheap is the roof was trash and a cost me almost triple what I paid for it to get it replaced. About two months ago I got this letter from the previous owner who had called my friends dad and asked what happened to her car and he gave her my name. How the hell she found my address I don’t know but I thought this was pretty cool and wanted to share with everyone. She had a lot of history to tell me about the car and the good times that she had in San Diego with it so when I’m done with the body & paint I’m gonna go and pick her up and she and I are going to go for the drive up to La Jolla like she did back in the day.
