Seat track brackets

I have 2 different styles of seat rail brackets on my 65 cutlass, bucket seats. Which one, if any, is the correct one? And are there any aftermarket ones that would fit my car? I've been looking but haven't found anything yet. Thanks in advance!

The one with the extra tab on the release lever is for a bench seat. A pull wire connects to that tab and runs to the track on the passenger side to release it also.

Thanks Joe. That makes sense. Did Oldsmobile use the same adjuster rails for bucket seat cars, or maybe my car was originally a bench seat car? Would the vin tell me this? Thank you again for sharing your vast knowledge on Oldsmobiles!!

The parts book shows that the 1964 cars used the same LH track for both bench seat and driver's side bucket. The 1965 cars have different P/Ns. This is from the Jan 1965 parts book, so that's likely not a superseded part number.

Correct. Trim codes are different for bucket or bench seat interiors
