I wanted to wait until after the NTOC Zone Show to post this invite to our Annual Spring Fling (wife's weekend party thingy)


The Annual Rockin' K Ranch Spring Fling
is THIS Saturday May 3rd..All Day

There is still time.. We live in Godley, 7 miles away from Joshua, 11 miles from Cleburne, and 12 miles from Burleson on 110 acres I inherited from my grand parents. A beautiful and serene ranch indeed Est. 1965.

The place in 5 miles almost to the click from the new Chisolm Trail Parkway bridge in Joshua on W FM 917 on the left just past CO1006, or 2 miles to the click from The Godley First Baptist Church in downtown Godley on the right just as you cross The Nolan River bridge (the river runs through my ranch). A big white gated entrance on the left from Joshua or right from Godley with a big K hanging from the gated entrance and a Godley Wildcats flag flying... You cannot miss it.

Hamburger, Hot Dawgs, drinks, fishing, shooting if wanted, some ATV's, games, lounging...my house is on a shaded 2 acres, 45 year old homesite with plenty of room w/100 acres of cattle ranch to do whatever on The Nolan river. After dark we have a pit fire w/bag chair round table and Smores...killer time. Kiddo friendly, not a kegger but a serene time indeed.

Oh, my place is #1 on the Google Harley Senic Ride Thingy...We usually see several hundred bikes go past our place on spring and summer weekends.

Saturday is the May third Rob. I don't know if I can make it or not yet, but I would like to meet you. what a nice place you have. I know what you mean about the bikes, my place is like that too, we are on FM 875 on the out skirts of Midlothian.

A few friends want to do a car show in Cleburne on that day. It's on the way back ,what time is your shindig? I'll probably be cruising through around 3:30/4:00.

 

It's all day/evening..heck it's all weekend Eric.

3/4pm is a great time,,stop on by and bring a friend or two if you like.

Sounds like a good time Rob and thanks for the invite! We'll be out of town Fri-Sun so unfortunately won't be able to make this one but keep us in mind for the sequel Hope everyone has a great time and safe travels to all.

 

FYI ya'll, Lisa (my wife) throws 2 of the weekend shindigs a year,=.

The Rockin' K Spring Fling in early May and
The Rockin' K Fall Festival near Halloween in late Oct or early Nov.

Weather warm during the day, cool at night for the very cool "bag chair-pit fire round robin's". So, I'll post another one in the fall. Now that ya'll know I don't bite maybe some of you would like to come.

BTW, I have a make shift gun range out at my middle tank (I have 3) so this weekend we are testing a newly built AR16, a new 9mm, my daughters 380 and my sons heirloom 30/30. It's private property and in the county most anything goes sans a Howtizer or a full auto LOL.
