Cutlass vs. 442

I have a 69 442 post car and found out last night that a trunk lid from a 69 cutlass will not fit. The mounting hole for the cutlass trunk are no where close to lining up with the brackets for the trunk lid on my 442.

Does anyone know of other parts that are not universal between the cutlass and 442 models?

Is it possible the donor deck lid is off a convertible? The 'vert lid won't fit on a coupe.

There's only two trunk lids for a 69 Olds A body.

All 2 dr closed cars
Convertibles and all 4 dr

If you are close to Austin, Tx. I have 4 of them to select from including 2 still on 442's. I do not ship offer is for local pickup only.

All Cutlass and 442 models of a given year use EXACTLY the same sheet metal. There is no difference. As noted above, the only difference in trunk lids is the 4DR/Convert trunk lid, which is different from the Sport Coupe (post car)/Holiday Coupe (hardtop) trunk lid.
