Rocker Panel Installation

Looking at a 1972 Cutlass Convertible and the rocker panels have some rust, and a bit of rot. Car comes with a new pair of rocker panels. Do the rocker panels have to be welded in or are they bolted in? Thanks

Welded. I saw your pictures of the car and from the pictures of the trunk, it has a lot more rust than just the rocker panels. I would examine it really closely by getting it up on a lift and looking at the underside. It should be priced accordingly. Rust can be very expensive to repair.
