Hi all - where so I find these racing stripes? There are decals. I got the car repainted and looking to add stripes again. See the pic attached. It is not a RAM hood.

 

Those stripes were not available on a steel in hood in '72, so show your painter this pic and see what he can do for you.

Yes, even though you had decals on there that somebody added at some point after the car left the factory. Olds NEVER used decals like that from the factory, period. In 1969 you could get PAINT stripes on the hood that looked like that. In 1970-72, you could get PAINT stripes like that, but only on the fiberglass W25 hood. The only decal stripes used by Olds on that metal hood looked like this in 1972:

 

just throwing this out there, are they Nova stripes cut to fit cutlass! Or maybe Chevelle?

 

As others have said your car did not come that way but if you want to you can do that. here is a company that sells the stripes as stickers
