71 CS convertible, wide hood/trunk stripe decals?

Are there decals for the WIDE hood stripes (not the 442 side stripes or narrow center hood stripe) and trunk stripes you see on a lot of Cutlasses? I can't quite tell from my searches if those stripes were ever offered for a CS vert without a ram air hood, but I love the look and since I'm not trying to restore mine to original I'm hoping to find a decent but not too expensive way to get there.

I have seen the W25 hood stripes as decals. I think most repo vendors carry them. They also carry the stencils if you want to paint them. The only convertibles with deck lid (trunk) stripes were 70 pace cars and 72 hurst olds. Of course as you said its what you like.

Thanks. I thought the W25 hood was the ram air hood. No? I've just got the regular ol' hood on mine, so a ram air decal won't work.

Chevelles got trunk stripes. Oldsmobiles did not (other than the two exceptions noted above). The 1971-72 metal hood did not get wide stripes from the factory - there was a single narrow center stripe in 1971 and outline stripes in 1972. You can get templates for the factory style stripes. The non-factory stripes you see online are custom.

1971 stripe:

1972 stripes:

Also note that this is a 442 - I could be wrong but I don't think the Supreme convertibles had this stripe.

That is correct. My point was that this was the only stripe offered by the factory on that hood and thus the only template available.
