pop ups

I know they are used to fund the site. But every time you run across the highlighted words ,the ad pops up, now the pic's are sponsored by "Best Buy" and they cover the pic. You can't hardly get rid of them.
To me just a little annoying Hard to get rid of and they come back on every pic.

Yes they are annoying and have gotten worse (for me) lately.

Gene, you just have to be careful not to roll over them. It'll take a little practice..

Try going into the site through "Internet Explorer Browser" When I go in through Google Chrome is when I get all the pop-ups on all the Car & Truck sites, especially the ones similar to this one "Internet Brands". Not so with Explorer.
I’d gladly pay a small fee to avoid this crap. I don’t think they work as I have never purchased anything off a pop-up must have something to do with the annoyance?!?

I was going to make a viagra joke here, but in all seriousness, I have no idea what anyone is talking about? It must have something to do with using Google Chrome as a browser? I don't see any Pop Ups.

Over the last couple days I've noticed that Kontera thing often pops up a "script on this page has stopped running" dialog box. That too is annoying, having to attend to that before you can continue...

If anyone at Internet Brands is monitoring, I can guarantee I will NEVER purchase any item advertised thru one of these popups.

They are really annoying to all of us, but like was stated they fund the site. So it is either work around them or don't visit the site. I'll probably visit less often. maybe the fewer people visit, then the owner will get the drift and drop them.

Hi Guys,

I don't know if it works for all browsers but definately worked for me with IE.

You want this thread post #30 by Mike "willys33"

https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...vw-pop-up.html

Took me a minute to install/do, i see no ad's or Mouse overs at all, the pages load a lot quicker and it is now a pleasure to look around the site rather than the chore that it was.

Cheers.

Russ.
