I am curious to know which is considered to be more popular among Olds Enthusiasts, the 66' or 67'? The reason I ask this is I have owned (3) 67's in the past but never a 66'. The 66' has recently grown on me as I like the looks of the back of the car better than the 67. I have been browsing craigslist for a few months now and very rarely see 66's for sale but the 67's seem to pop up quite a bit in certain areas.

Ultimately I am looking for a project car in the 3-5k price range. My question about popularity has no bearing on what I want to buy I was just curious as to what Olds enthusiasts opinions are on these 2 similar years.

I guess I should have mentioned that I am referring to the F-85, Cutlass, 442 models.

I am biased toward the 66

 

My personal favorite of all A-bodies is the '66 (I have a '68 and a "69). I always liked the '66 4-4-2 taillights. Some of my favoritism towards '66 might stem from the fact that my dad had a '66 F-85 Deluxe when I got my driver's license!

I also like both the 66 & 67....... I presently have a 66 442 TriPower Car and a 67 442 W30........ My favorite is the 66 at this time, mainly I suppose because it is completed and the 67 still needs to be restored.....

 

JMO but I prefer the '66. I like the bling of the fender vents.

 

I like '67 better but 66-67 are my least favorite 442's of the 64-72 (real 442) era so my opinion probably doesn't mean much.
