I have a 455 4bbl motor w/C heads from a running, driving '68 Delta 88. The motor is complete, sans alternator and PS pump. All brackets are still hanging on the motor. What would be a fair, realistic price to ask for this?

Does it have a forged crank or nodular? 2bbl or 4bbl?

 

It has a Nodular crank (slim chance of forged in the Delta, I'm guessing), and a stated above, it's a 4bbl motor

 

If its stock and untouched, as in dirty, and needs cleaned up and some gaskets and a timing set. But in the car and can be shown it runs good with no noises or smoke i would say $700 is a fair price.

 

Guess I should of reread the add twice. I skimmed right over the 4bbl. As far as the forged crank in a delta a remember a few alleged finds on ROP that said they were in 2bbl motors in 4 door deltas.
