it is believed there were a few pre-production/promotional '68 H/O convertibles built in a couple color combinations
there were pics posted (probably here) of a gold '68 convertible in rough shape at a dragstrip in the '70s or '80s - implied that it is/was "REAL"

What color is the interior of your car? That is the original color of my 72, mine was also a vinyl top car but the po removed it. After seeing how good the car looks in that color i wish i would have stuck to the factory color. Mine has white interior so I’m guessing the top was white.

Interior is saddle. The coffee brown top kind if brings the int. Color to the outside. I always kind of liked the look.

I created the "Show" sign in the 1st pic from Vintage Old's Ads thinking they would describe the features/attributes of the car in a more interesting way than me just listing a bunch of features. The ad in the 2nd pic just cracks me up everytime I look at it and read it, it's Soooo late 60's!

I searched for almost 2-years before finding one I fell in love with. Luckily, I was able to get mine before the crazy price inflation that has occurred over the past couple of years.

I sold it locally in the late 1980s. He ended up selling through Fast Lane Classic Cars around 9/11. I wanted to buy it back but missed the opportunity. I would definitely buy it back if I could find it.
