I did a search and didn't see a thread like this so, Lets start an oldsmobile picture thread. Oldsmobiles and oldsmobile related pictures only and lets keep comments and questions to pm's so we can keep the thread clean.
Eric your right about the gallery, I've never looked at it though.

Thank you. It is called Nassau Blue and is the original color. I have always wondered about the color code written in wax pencil on the firewall behind the air cleaner. I haven't seen this on other Oldsmobiles but mine was original when I bought it in 1984 and there it was. Does anyone know if this is common? It can be seen in the engine photo.

Hi Mike,
My '69 is the same color combo, and has the 53 on the firewall. It's written a bit smaller and has an X above it with a slash in between, I imagine to indicate vinyl top. Mine was built in Fremont which may be why they're slightly different. Your car is beautiful! I wish mine were anywhere near that nice. Here it is last weekend; first time out of the garage since 1995.

One pic shows my shop with the '68 to the right before it was restored and the '69 to the left with the hood stripes. The next pic is the '68 after it was restored. And the last pic is the '69 just after it was painted...the '69 hasn't had anything done to it since then and I need to get to work on it!
