Olds 350 fuel pump issues

I have a ? The fuel pump that we had on the motor isn't pumping the gas, so we got a brand new one but it was bad do you think we should try a electric fuel pump or get another manual fuel pump to try it out.

yes the engine was rebuilt we're going to try a different fuel pump but if that doesn't work we will have to see if it's something else.

And here's a pic showing how the pump arm rides on the eccentric that is bolted to the front of the camshaft. Hopefully you didn't leave that off during the rebuild.
