fuel pump issues

1991 cutlass supreme 3.4 5 speed manual trans.car was starting at early summer. 3 days ago i turned the key on and the fuel pump didn't pump. Checked the relays and they were good. Changed the fuel pump and still no fuel. I have one leg of power at the plug from car harness which I believe runs the sending unit. What else am I missing?

fuel pump problem

maybe your ground, I haven't seen it on your model but mid 90's gm cars have a problem with a ground terminal that is next to driver's sill plate.usually the power windows don't work either.

weren`t some cars fuel pump ran off the ignition module . Car would still get fire , but fuel pump side of module would be bad and not run pump ? Also on some certain vehicles , faulty oil pressure sending unit would not let fump run . May not be part of your vehicle , but it is something to check into . That 3.4 you have , isn`t that the o/h cam bad boy v6 ? If so , and as unique as they were , i would not be suprised if either one is part of your system !! Good luck .
