Thought I'd try this here.....looking for advise

I filled out the on line form for FASTENAL's Blue Line Freight.
The quote comes back showing the delivery destination to be
easily 150 miles from where I specified. The listed phone is
v/m., the local store is no help. Does anyone have an idea or
know another number besides 855-798-5695 ?

Did you get a confirmation email? I usually respond to person emailing and there may even be a phone# for that person? Sometimes it will go to the Fastenal with a fork lift or means to take shipments?

Can you go to the Fastenal website and contact them via email ?

 

I used Fastenal a month or so ago to ship an NV4500 trans. Their first quote came back with a delivery store that was not the one I specified. After several calls, they figured out that whoever had prepared the quote made a typo on the delivery zip code (despite the fact that I specifically gave them the address and designator for the delivery store I wanted). Sounds like that same person did data entry for yours. Once all this got sorted, the actual shipment went a lot faster than I expected.

 

I should add that the Blue Line Freight number that worked for me was 317-472-4386

The person at Blue Line that I found most helpful and knowledgeable was Stacy Timms <stimms@fastenal.com>

 

I got my call back from supervisor Tawnya at Blue Line Freight.
After much back and forth it seems that until they hire some
60 drivers they can't deliver a package to a Fastenal near me.
This despite the fact that the manager of the nearest one to me
said "No problem send it. WE got this". Tomorrow I'll try Joe's
suggestion.
