Some more...

Joe's meticulous '72 vert...

Clean enough to eat off of!

Wow....

And what looks to be a very nice survivor of a Delta...

I sure like the wire wheel covers...

Lots of history under this hood...

Looks very complete and unmolested...

A nice '71 Cutlass in Bamboo...

Very good underhood resto, too.

Sweet '85 Cutlass

One heck of a clean 307!

I sure like the two tone paint schemes from the 50s!

The two-tone scheme on this one is great! Two great shades of green...

And oodles of chrome...

This one was quite one-of-kind at the show...

One of many 70's 442's...

Richard's rescued 442 with an accelerated patina...

And now my own 'favorite' from the show...

A very unique, preserved 88...

Very nice underhood detailing.

The venue...

Not sure if the surroundings were considered for the show or if they were coincidental. It was great to be able to walk, rest, and picnic at the small park behind the hotel.
This made staying there 6 hours quite fun - enjoyable and relaxing.
Many thanks to whom all made this show possible!

I like it a lot too, but that's a color that wasn't even offered on any of the GM A bodies in 1972. Ebony Black had to be special ordered * (bypass code 2 - DUPONT NO. 926-96459)
* - information obtained from actual Freemont build sheet for 1972 Cutlass S in Ebony Black. Order #114142
The rear deck wing was not offered in 72 and although I LOVE the wide W30 stripe (personal preferences) it's not correct for a 350 with OAI. IIRC only the 455 W30's got that striping. It does have a lot of wow factor and I doubt anyone would really care about the things I mentioned.

Shucks, all teasing aside it looks like a fabulous show and I'd like to thank you for taking and posting those pics of some really nice cars.

Accuracy does not come with long work hours and staying up way past my bedtime. I was lucky to get the models correct at that point. On the Bamboo one, I saw the parking lights and knew it was a '70, but looks like I still put '71. My mind has been getting lost more since I jumped the 50 mark. Or was that 40............

That Bamboo '70 has a cool story. It belongs to a club member named Dan Mizell, whose grand parents ordered it new in Oct. of '69. Three generations in the same family, and Dan did a really nice job restoring it, but it has always been in excellent condition. Everyone I know loves that color - one of the few I feel that looks good with a vinyl top.

Really nice pictures Rob, you even got a little of mine in there. Although I was expecting more of a turnout, the cars that were there were fantastic.

Well, in blunder I omitted your car. With over 200 pictures and working from thumbnails, some looked the same as others and I was trying to prevent duplicates. But here it is!
