Here's some more pictures of the car. I had to replace the master cylinder the other day when the pedal started going down to the floor. Also had to deal with a transmission pan leak and front engine oil seal. I guess from all the years of sitting the seals dried up.

A couple of engine pictures:

Firewall still has original stamp markings on it:

Interior is mint except I need to reupholster the front seat.

Wow the dash looks like it is in really great shape. the seat is not too bad but if you do redo it then the interior will look new. My brakes started doing that. they will keep going down slowly while at a stop light , so I pump them quickly and they come up again. I guess I will have to change my master cylinder soon.

That's the same exact thing that happened to me. I was sitting in traffic and the pedal slowly started to drop to the floor. I had to pump it up as well to keep the car from moving forward. When I separated the m/c from the booster, fluid came pouring down the front of the booster. Fortunately, none seemed to go inside of it.

The dash and steering wheel are both excellent. I am going to order a seat cover from Legendary soon unless Santa brings me one.

Have you been a good boy??? Your dash looks like mine! It looks like the "chrome" beading on your dash is coming off over on the left by the steering wheel - mine is too. That happened with both 72's I had back in the day too. I just kept pushing it back in!

Fusicks sells that stuff... I thought about getting some - I bet Bluevista could make mine look beautiful again!! (Redgoat made me say that!)

I guess that all depends on who you ask!

Good pick up Sandy! Yeah I tried to push it back in but the clips are broken so it won't push back in. I'll have to look in the Fusick catalog for that item. Maybe on my Christmas list as well.

Or maybe Bluevista can show me how to fix it.

ssshhh... gotta whisper... he has this way of knowing when he's being talked about! Vulcan hearing or something like that! Maybe that tin foil hat he's wearing today to block out his evil twin Redgoat will hinder his hearing some!

He's very smart and talented! Even the Redgoat side of him! His car is beautiful! But don't tell him I said so... I don't want to give him a big head!

My beading doesn't have clips. I don't like that yucky lookin brown glue they evidently used to hold that beading in. It's all hard and dried... I'm sure Santa can bring you some new beading if you ask really nice!!

The last thing ya need is Bluevista and Redgaot showing up on this thread.

He's been awfully quiet today.

I hope he didn't fall off a roof again.
