Testing photos of new ride
Never done this before, but I'm gonna give it a shot. If they show, these are the photos of a local 1970 "S" that I came across and acquired. Let's see if they work.

And here is how I found her, sitting in a shed, not driven since 1989. Dirt, dust, mouse poop, you name it, it's in there (or was). Original one owner, with protecto-plate, etc. and 64,000 miles on the odometer. I'm happy!

Thanks, guys. Don't know what year Malibu that is, I'm blinded by the Oldsmobile! I'm very pleased with this find, it has factory front disc brakes, 350/4 barrel. My other two Cutlass's both had 2 barrels, 4 way drum brakes. This is a nice start for a fixer-upper. I can't complain for $1800, which, ironically, was what I paid in 86 for my first Olds.
This one will need some work from sitting so long. Already discovered the heater core is shot, needs all brakes rebuilt, master cylinder, exhaust is shot. The inside still smells funky, I am assuming that the carpet has been wet too much from the heater core. Driver's side of the bench is cracked. At least the owner didn't do much altering of the car at all. All I have removed so far is an aftermarket cruise control system. Also has the typical rust areas starting behind the front wheels, and a little behind the passenger side rear wheel. The paint is well worn, with literally thousands of scratches, dings, chips, etc. At least she's pretty straight overall. Undercarriage has typical frame surface rust, but all body pans are clean.

I'm sure I'll be frequenting this site quite often from here on out! I already have many questions on which way to go with parts, resto, etc. from the experts. First goal is to get her street worthy, then just keep fixin' what breaks as well as start a low-budget resto. I have a feeling that after 20 years of not running, the engine will keep me busy......

I too want to say, nice find. And before you "fix" all those little scratches and what not, remember a car is only original ONCE!!! My wagon isn't perfect, but not bad enough to warrent a resto, or even just paint(all it could use).

I absolutely love the body lines of the Holiday Coupes. The shot from the rear bumper is my favorite! Helps that the rear has coilovers still on it-gives it a nice stance. These are just plain beautiful cars, imho.
Thanks for all the compliments. Glad to find fellow Olds lovers!
