Need to move a car

Any suggestions on who you guys would use to transport a car from Nashville, Tn to central Virginia? Open carrier ok. Thanks to all.

your own trailer? rent an aluminum uhaul car carrier?

I once tried u-ship (the force behind that old show shipping wars) to get my suburban from coast to coast - but they are a joke, its more trouble than worth. nashville to central VA (I assume I 40 east to I81 N) is pretty straightforward that any fairly stout pickup truck could handle....

Uhaul

I've used their car transport trailers a lot lately. 70.00 returned to same location, was to be 177.00 from Cincinnati to St. Louis for example. You can get a quote at uhaul.com. You can keep an eye on it while in transport too. I had a professional transport company deliver a car from Texas and they broke down. When I got my car it had dead bugs all over the front. They probably used it for entertainment while broke down. So there's THAT for your consideration.
