MSD alternator Diode

I found a nice alternator plug & pigtail on ebay with a built in diode to prevent engine run-on with an msd ignition box. You don’t have to cut into the alternator harness to install the msd diode. It has a male & female plug with a built in diode. I bought 2 of them for about $12 with free shipping. I installed it today and it works and looks fine.

alternator diode

I wanted 2 of them for 2 different cars. They also sell them each, and with regular pigtails to replace damaged ones. Now that I know they work I will buy some spares. They don't mention MSD in the item description, they say they will prevent back feed that causes some idiot lights to glow dimly.
