Bad link? It doesn't show for me. This one should work.

Thanks 69HO I edited the link a few times and thought I had it right. This guy is quite a storyteller - anyone ever bought a car from him and do they match the stories? Experts are typically self evident, not self-proclaimed

I couldn't even make it through his bogus "story". What a crock. And what's worse, to me anyway, is that even if you wanted to fake a 442 nose, there are pilot dimples on the back of that hood extension! WTF? Can't even use those? It's almost foolproof. But then again.
Couldn't take off the rocket on the trunk cuz it would leave holes...but holes don't line up with Cutlass and 442 on front fenders. No problems there. This does not compute.
There may be some half-truths in there. But the "legal wrangling" he had in selling a car he owned? I smell pure bull crap. Hadn't convinced me.
Here's an old ad for the same car with 16K more miles on it than what the listing claims...plain steery wheel, no tic toc tach, no 8 track, and no AM/FM.

It appears the 442 emblems were added prior to dipsheet's ownership. The plate in the trunk makes me think they may have been added by some ham-handed individual a long time ago.
What a dipsheet. He should write children's stories. Because that's mostly all they are. Stories.

A very high dollar restoration correct in almost every aspect, yet there's a rubber fuel line going from the pump to the middle or rear of the carburetor? If ya can't find a QJet and a metal fuel line, how much money and effort really went into this restoration?

Please don't get me started!!!! I have posted so many warnings about the "unique, documented, one of a kind cars" he advertises.
Please call the guy by his right name to minimize confusion. "Joe from Itasca"

Hmmm, crooked Police Chief "Winston Churchill" an Oldsmobile guy, was the driver and Spiro Agnew was a passenger. Good thing John Dillinger was already dead or he might have been riding "shotgun."

The problem is when you mislead people but don't actually lie, you're still a POS.
It's like making a deal with the devil, yes, it's technically in the detail, but he's out to screw you.
