Mondello Heads?

Sorry if i put this in the wrong spot.

A couple years ago i did some trading with a guy and i got a pair of C-heads, he said the heads were rebuilt by mondello performance.

the heads are in really good condition, with screw in studs for valve covers.

My question is is there away i can tell if they were built by mondello. a special mark, or number. how would i know or find out?

Thanks

I was told the cross sectional area in the "C" head is supposed to be better, by how much? I would most definitely call Mondello.

There will be a serial number stamped in the head.

Here's an example of the numbers described by Pete.

I'm not sure what the numbers in the last picture means. Faint 400 on the left, 78 on the right.

Like you, I got these from a guy who bought them at a swap meet years before and who knows the history now! But I thought it kinda cool that they were stamped to show where the porting work was done. John
