Unhappy Lost that QuadraJet Sound?

After completing the build and working all those pesky bugs out I can't help to wonder what has happened to that famous QuadraJet sound they make when you open it up. I do have an Edlebrock Olds 350 intake and thinking, is this why I don't hear it?

An open air filter will solve the problem.

Make sure your linkage is adjusted for total secondary opening at full throttle plus correct air valve adjustment.

Quadrajet sound ? "Back in the day", we used to cut a piece of plywood the same diameter as the air filter element and drill a 1/4" hole in the center.to replace the air cleaner top. We got that sound with Rochester 2GC's, 4GC's, etc.
........Just my two cents worth.

Okay I have the open air cleaner.

All of the linkage is free for full open.........But correct air valve adjustment? Not sure how to do this.

Make sure this little guy isn't stuck at WOT. The choke needs to be fully open for it to operate correctly.
