L 69 pics

Just when I'm thinking I have this set up done I realize my paint work was bad on the intake.
In regular indoor lighting and outdoor lighting it looked great,I put a bright light directly on it to help improve pics and I can see where the paint is thin on the side of the intake runners.
I'll be taking it apart to touch up the paint but overall looks much better now!
Sparky with Sparkys carb service gets most of the credit for the work he did restoring the carbs and hardware, they look amazing!

Sparky does good work. What do you plan to put it on and are you going to go all the whay and get the glass fuel bowl and tall oil filler tube?

For my application I won't use the tall fill tube and glass bowl.
I'm putting it on a 461 with a lot of bling for weekend rides and cruise ins in the gold 71 in my sig pic.
A pre build mock up of the 461

NICE!!! That engine would also look good in a glass topped coffee table so you could look at it every day without leaving your living room.

For the AL and AU Tri-Carb intakes, Olds published a note to use Permatex #1 on the center carb base gasket to help prevent vacuum leaks. That is because the passage in the base isn't fully supported by the pad on the manifold.
