Jetfire, Jetstar I, and a Starfire all at one local show
Took a brake from working on cars today and went to the first local show of the year. This was also the first time for this show. For a local show I was surprised at seeing over 100 cars there. I was also surprised to see a 65 Jetstar I factory 4 speed car there. There was no paint left on the car but still a cool car. Then there was a 64 Starfire convertible there. The Starfire is in very nice condition. Then our 62 Jetfire I had there.

Always cool to see another 4 speed big Olds. I toy with selling mine at least once a year but in the end I know I'd never find another like it once its gone.
By the way, if you got the number of the guy who owns that '65 JI, here's the glovebox door he apparently needs (priced a bit high, unfortunately, but you never know):

Well- he doesn't have the only one on earth, as I have one I pulled off a J-1 in a freak snowstorm bout 20 years back, and I'll sell it a lot cheaper. Includes a new lock cylinder ferrule too.
Cool to find those three cars at one show. Several years ago when River Ridge cruise night was going strong in Lynchburg VA, bud and I had my 64 and his 66 Starfire parked together. We found a 65 SF there too and owner moved it over with us, and then a 65 Pontiac 2+2 found us and moved in with us. There was a 65 Impala SS there too but he had to leave before a parking space opened up near us. That would have been an impressive display of 60s GM full-size muscle.
A local cruise night found my 74 Hurst, a friend's 77 CanAM, and a 76 Laguna parked together. Believe it or not a few people realised what they were looking at.
