You dudes.. I have a 1985 delta 88. I locked the keys in trunk and the trunk release doesn't work. Anybody out there relate to this? What can I do to get them out?

IIRC the trunk release only works with the key on.

Assuming the release is functional otherwise .....

I would think all you would need to do is jump 12 volts to the switch/connector in the glovebox.

You could get that right from the glovebox lamp connector assuming that was working.

I'm sure someone more "electrical" will correct me if I am wrong.

And extra keys are your FRIEND.

Or... you can remove the rear set and enter the trunk that way.

I can attest from personal experience that this works.

Jumping the from the glove box definitely works because it worked on my 84 Ninety-Eight when I locked my keys in the trunk.
