i need information on 455perf.modifications

i am building a 455 for bracket racing.i know the engine`s history for 15 year`s back.only about 8-10,000 miles on rebuild,.30 over,10-10 crank bronze valve guides.i am using a performer intake and want it to idle ROUGH.with a stock head, what spec`s do i use for the cam selection?i have done some research on this and other site`s and have found that i have a really good engine combo, since it`s a 69 model with c heads.i also need to know what oil restrictions to make.

Not to be sarcasatic, but...wouldnt you rather the engine run good and make HP instead of having just a Rough idle?.....All things need consideration before you choose a cam. To simply install a big cam without beefing up internals, oiling system, rear and gears, trans and converter your on the wrong path. You will have a 455 turd that sounds mean at idle but falls on its face when you try to go. Search past posts as already suggested.

You could always use a stock cam and turn the idle speed way down to get that "rough idle" feel.
