There are two actually three places. Two Exxon stations across from each other on South Broadway. Just north of Arapahoe Road. The other is just south of Arapahoe Road on Broadway also at Stern Parkway. Not sure what that station is. I will update when I drive by later.

There is also a station on Littleton Boulevard half a block west of Broadway that is usually cheap too.

The place at Broadway and Stern is a Circle K. 3.61 today. It's crazy I have seen them raise the price 15 cents overnight and then bring it back down the same afternoon.

Here in Medford Oregon the cheapo stations are around $5 a gallon for regular. The Shell station down the street from my place is $5.59 for regular, $6.19 for premium and diesel is also $6.19

It just doesn't make sense how fast the prices shoot up. Well except for the profits made by the powers that be. The place that I used to call my cheap station was 4.42 (really was) when I drove by in the morning. 4.69 when I passed it later that same day. There is zero reason other than profits that it should jump that much in seven hours. It sure won't drop that quick guarantee you that.

This is in Littleton Colorado by the way. Just south of Denver.

Here in Northern CA, we’re between 6 & 7 bucks a gallon. Pushing toward the north end of that range.

I refilled my ‘98 convertible with 21 gallons this afternoon at - - get this - - 6.99/gallon.

Ouch.

Guessing prices will go up as Summer kicks in. I’m now speculating in gasoline.

I’m rationalizing it as spending hobby money, not filling up the car. Sure.

It is $8.02 for 91 non ethanol here. Even 87 with 10% ethanol in $7.55 for a US gallon. I sent my RPM intake to bung for SEFI. I may get him to do a 87 tune.

In the past three days I've seen 87 at $4.42 and $4.55.

I've taken to filling up between half and 3/4 tank too.

Filled up the truck Thursday nite at Sheetz $4.19. Filled up the Mercury last nite, same station $4.29. 10c/gal increase in 24 hr.

I said a few years back that lining up some of these oil execs and futures traders in front of a firing squad would quickly correct oil prices. I stand by that.

It wasn't this crazy in 1973 or early 1980s. Yet with the friendly Canadians next door offering us oil, this nincompoop administration wants to buy it from the hostile and unstable Middle East? No wonder oil prices are so high and volatile.

Analysts keep predicting average $6/gal gas nationally by summer. That tells me they've set the price they want and will do what it takes to get it there. In the meantime the economy tanks and a loaf of bread will be ten bucks.🙄

1973 had long lines at gas stations that had gas. No lines at gas stations that were out of gas. How well did the "Wage and Price controls" work ?

The President has little control over fuel prices. I doubt this administration ever sat in on a boardroom discussion with major refineries. Previous administrations? I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised.

our current President is a car guy. Anyone who owns a 67 Corvette probably has a little gasoline flowing in their veins. Our previous CiC? I doubt he has every touch a gas pump at a service station.

People bitching “Open the pipeline back up!!” really should read exactly what was closed and why.

I’m old enough to vaguely remember the fuel crisis of the early 70s. While I was too young for it to have meant much to me, I remember people being able to buy fuel based on the last digits of their license plate number. I’m not seeing “No Gas!!” signs at the gas stations. I’m not seeing long lines at the gas pumps. What we are seeing is refineries racking in record profits.

I work 3rd shift. When I woke up and heard about the Ukraine war, I called my wife and told her regardless of how much fuel she had in her car, fill it up. Even though the oil leaving the ground at that moment wouldn’t be processed and ready for sale for months, the price at the gas stations immediately go up. They jump 10-20 cents at a time, and slowly trickle down a penny or so over weeks. Of course, someone has a “crisis” (probably spilled a cup of coffee on a financial report!) and the price jumps again.

It seems yo me the oil industry gees away with crap no other industry could ever pull off. Not a summer goes by without a refinery fire, refinery shutdown for maintenance, or some other thing that any other industry would have to consider “cost of doing business”. If you paid a contractor to put a roof on your house, and one of the workers dropped a bundle of shingles on your car, you would expect the contractor to make it right by repairing your car. You would be pretty pissed if the car was repaired, but the repair costs were added to your bill! Or if you went to a restaurant and ordered a steak, and the waiter brought you a hamburger, you would expect the order made right. Needless to say, you would not be happy if the steak AND hamburger were on the bill.

Record fuel prices, record oil company profits??? Coincidence?? I think not. This is corporate greed, nothing more.

I am a fuel truck driver for our local Coop. We see that exactly for the prices, up like a Rocket and down like a Feather. My Boss watches oil and rack prices, they have not been making sense at all. Federated Coop, our parent company who rapes independent Coop's every chance it gets, owns a refinery in Regina and there was yearly fires for quite a few years. They jack up the prices any time rack or oil prices move, the last couple weeks, 6 to 10 cents per liter, adjusted every Wednesday and Saturday. If it moves down, almost always half the amount it went up, regardless of how much rack and oil drop. The calculations never add up. It doesn't help our putz of a Prime Minister has an extra carbon tax of 11 cents per liter, so 40 ish cents per US gallon on top of the other taxes. Our electric rates aren't cheap but aren't terribly expensive either but our infrastructure and distance make electrical impractical, actually more like impossible to work in any numbers. This fuel price is going to be a big economy killer this Summer.

I do remember in 2009. A main gas pipeline broke or something. Gas was $8.00+ for a few weeks. Highways were empty. I drove to job sites, like the little old lady from pasadena. Never letting the secondary in the rochester carburetor open up.

Fortunately, the weather we've been getting in the Pacific Northwest is not encouraging much convertible driving this year, so I'm saving lots of money that would otherwise be going for 94-octane non-ethanol premium at somewhere north of $10/gallon.

Up in Sothern Ontario, Canada, with the expected price increase of 4 cents per liter tonight, making one liter of regular (87) cost $2.15 per, it will cost us $6.54 in US funds for 1 US gallon. Staying out of the secondaries for sure, I won't even go where mid or premium grades are priced, both our Oldsmobile vehicles need mid grade minimum!
