Hood Lock with A/C

Can anyont get me a pic of the lower dash mounting position of the interior hood lock slider with the plastic ductwork that runs under the steering column and connects to the driver side dash vent and lap cooler vent installed. Mine seems to be sitting too low. Asking for 70-72 cutlass.
Thanks,
Tom

Yes. Thanks. Is the cable running under the plastic duct that feeds the driver dash vent?

it routes above the parking brake release and above the fuse box through a round grommet on the firewall

Thanks, I know where it comes out through the firewall. I was asking if it is above or below this plastic duct that feeds the driver dash vent. It looks like it should go under, but i can't seem to get the duct high enough, and there does not seem to be enough room to move the lock lever closer to the left towoard the parking brake handle.

looks like the cable is routed above the parking brake bracket to the left of the duct

Thanks,
I will see if I can reposition it and look through my assembly manual again to try to find a better diagram.
