Here are some photos of my new ride. Please help me decode this crazy "build sheet"? I don't know if it s a build sheet but it has some good info. Also here is the protect o plate and some engine and casting codes off of various parts inside. Please help me compile a good list of information about what this car was originally so I can take it closer to its roots. Thank you!
The car, so you know what it looks like. Build sheet? I don't know what it is but it looks like it has a bunch of information I cannot figure out how to translate. Build sheet two? I don't know what it is but it looks like it has a bunch of information I cannot figure out how to translate. Protect-O-Plate Shot of the Vin. Shot of the body plate, looks a little fishy I know. Motor, transmission, or some kind of casting photo I have yet to ID and I don't know what it means. Motor, transmission, or some kind of casting photo I have yet to ID and I don't know what it means. Wow. Talk about nice documentation. The block and trans VIN derivatives match the VIN, so that's really nice. The broadcast card matches the cowl tag, and shows A01 Tinted Windows and C60 A/C. Nov 17, 1969 build date on the broadcast card. Trim code 934 is a gold bucket seat interior. Paint code 50 is Bamboo, and the "F" indicates the car originally had a brown vinyl top. Color "H" in the lower LH box on the Code B sheet shows gold stripes.

Amazing thank you so much for the information! I had to replace some small plastic pieces recently for the shoulder strap bolt covers. Where would I begin a search for a good paint match for the interior? Is the 934 code the gold color of the dash etc.? And wow a vinyl top! I had no clue!
I have to say your car wears that color so well. The gold on that tan is just awesome. I love an A body without a vinyl top. Especially an Olds. I wouldn't put it back. I love that your car does not have W-30 stripes. I have always liked the thinner stripes. I am never really a fan of the wing but your car looks great. Beautiful cool tough *** car. I love it.
What is the story on how you found it and bought it etc? Always an Olds fan?

If you have a moment please post the transmission code from the side of the transmission (should be a two letter code starting with "O") and the carb numbers as shown in the images below.
See on your other post that "the current carb is a Buick 1972 Rochester" so please just provide the trans ID.
I still stick with my points. Beautiful car. No better looking tan gold car that I have seen. It has obviously had adjustments to it. Wing hood etc. Tasteful great looking resto. Look at that. Great looking thin pinstripe all the way down. Not some screwed up W wanna be stripe. Not some non matching parts will happen.
Enjoy your car. Drive it like it is an Oldsmobile. Your dog likes it too. That says plenty. You have a great looking hopefully great running car. Go with that

Crawling around under my ride last night working on getting my heater working. Here are the transmission data plate photos someone asked me about. This thing looks like someone took a wire brush to it!
Thanks for posting the transmission ID photo.
From previous pictures we know it's the original transmission because the VIN number stamped on the trans matches the VIN of the vehicle.
The "OG" code is correct for a 1970 442.
