I would agree "IT'S THERE" 30E159281

I would've left out the build sheet pic & ask "what do you see? & Is this a factory stamping?"

thank you vc
I’ll keep doing the right things I’m looking for a driver/original got a lot of brains to pick LOL
and I hope I do the car right

Your car is too far gone. Give it to me.

J/K. Great start to a great car. When I saw the OG transmission, I mean literally OG as well, not just the tag, that's the proper code for the 70 442 TH400. So even before I saw you found the matching number I suspected original transmission.

Suggestion...take 400,000 photos of EVERYTHING as the car comes apart should you choose to do a frame-off. It'll be worth to do a complete job, I think. Not just to document placement of stuff, but also to note what's factory and what's not and decide if you wanted to change it back to original or not. It is not unusual to see some "altered" stuff after 50 years.

Good luck with the build!

Hi Natick9, Great find.
Maybe we will link up at a car show this year.

I just completed a rebuild of a 69 442 convertible. It was a lot of work.
Mine had less rust than yours.

Let's see some more pictures.
Does it still have the Deluxe radio and rear speakers.
lets look under the hood.
