The US has a problem with stereotyping / prejudice, in that we do not have any socially agreed upon degree to which it is or is not appropriate.

Depending on what part of the country and what educational level you're from, different amounts of stereotyping seem completely normal.

When I was in college, I discovered that stereotyping that I considered entirely innocuous coming from New York City (Russians being secretive and clan-like, or Greeks being gregarious) was considered scandalous, and possibly fodder for the Student Body Court.

We all stereotype. Its human nature, and, studies seem to indicate, innate.
The question is whether we monitor our own beliefs and behavior well enough to reduce the likelihood that our unavoidable stereotyping will cause us to treat someone else unfairly.

Either that or he's a pro athlete, which is pretty much the same thing in my book (and, no, I'm not bringing color into it - white, black, or any other color, making that much money to hit a ball with a stick and run around in circles should be illegal).

The car itself is another of those trends that will come and go, and in the meantime another car has been chopped up to satisfy its owner/builder's masturbation fantasies- which are probably nowhere close to anyone else's. Can the car be changed back? Lot of work, probably twice as much as took to build it.

It bothers me when people live up to stereotypes.

80% of all stereotypes have truth in them tbh.

And i do believe in the dont have to have money to get stuff done well either, trades are always being made in the car hobby, i will rebuild your engine you paint my car.

but if you want my honest opinion i think it is a white boy that did this, wigger/poser as there called, too much money from mommy and daddy most likely and then got made fun of by his friends and wanted to sell it.

main reason i feel this, speaking of stereotypes, is cause of the steering wheel. i have looked at a lot of tricked out cars and all the ones i have seen done never put another car company on there. especially with Cutty's. just from what i saw and could be totally be wrong lol. but since everyone else is throwing out theories...

Okay. So who is this guy, where does he get the scratch to do this, and why doesn't he give some of it to me?

I mean, seriously, do you actually know someone who does this, or is this just some sort of a subcultural meme?

- Eric
Dude, you need to come from under that trailer. Who he is & where he get his money from is irrelevant

"Connected" body shops (and have you ever seen one that wasn't?)

The guy down the block who worked at the gas station and saved his pennies for a better carb may have had an awesome blown GTO, but usually in need of paint, and never a fully remodeled car like this.

Urban dictionary says:
WIGGER:
A male caucasion, usually born and raised in the suburbs that displays a strong desire to emulate African American Hip Hop culture and style through "Bling" fashion and generally accepted "thug life" guiding principles.

Often characterized by his car, or "whip": usually an econobox modified with at least twice the car's book value in non-power producing modifications or an SUV with at least 5500 lbs. of curb weight. Traditional trucks can also qualify here, depending on locale (southern states' percentages are higher). All vehicles are also mandated to have at least 19" chrome alloy wheels, regardless of make. The typical wigger is also characterized by a strong desire to adorn gold jewlery (especially heavy gold chains) and athletic warm up suits. All equipment and clothing will be paid for by the parents of the individual in question, or the parents of said individual's "shorty" through the use of said shorty's credit cards.

A general disposition of "hard" will be displayed among other wiggers and to kids around their neighbohood (usually labelled a 'subdivision' or 'gated community' due to its mass produced housing develoment origins). This disposition will immediately be dropped and replaced by a more typical "white boy" disposition when in the presence of actual African Americans ( with exceptions: Those whose origins trace to the suburbs being the most prominant.).

POSER
1.one who pretends to be someone whose not.
2. who tries to fit in but with exaggeration
