Full lock sets for 70-72 cutlass
Be aware that the repro lock sets are all "generic" cylinders. The factory locks used a unique cylinder and key blank that changed each year. The grooves in the sides of the key and the matching features in the cylinders were designed so that the 1970 key (a "J" blank for that year) would not fit into a 1971 ("A" blank) or 1972 ("C" blank) lock cylinder. This provided an added amount of security, since there are only 7,776 possible key combinations for these Briggs and Stratton locks (six tumblers with five possible tumblers each) and GM built millions of cars each year. With the different key blanks, that increased to just over 31,000 possible combinations total. The generic cylinder and key won't affect functionality of the locks, but just won't be "correct". I'm not aware of any vendor selling correct repro cylinders and blanks for each year.
