Frame date code

On a 1970 Cutlass or 442 is the frame date coded? If so where would it be located? Thanks

Should be on the frame side rail, behind the left rear tire. The other four arrows are locations where the VIN derivative may be found, but on Oldsmobiles it is most frequently location #1.

It will look something like this. The upper number is the P/N. The 6 15 indicates June 15th. The S2 is second shift. There will be a two letter code to the right of the shift number that indicates the broadcast code for that frame (which you will find in a table in the Product Information Manual).
