Date Code ???

anybody ever seea date code for a 1970 442 showing 0CC

i know C is third week but never seen two C's before ?????

Are you sure it isn't 06C and the "6" is just poorly stamped?

Broadcast card says 03. 16th day. Maybe first C is the third month and 16 would be third week What you think ???

Yup. Most likely answer is that the person who stamped the tag had a brain fart and grabbed a "C" instead of a "3".

"Factory mistake" gets used to try to justify a whole bunch of B.S. cars, but in this case the mistake is both credible and backed up by independent documents (the broadcast card). Mistakes obviously did happen, just nowhere near as much as ebay ads would lead one to believe.

Orange County Choppers ......... We see such anomalies on many makes and models at MCACN. As Joe stated they didn't happen all the time but did happen.
