The reality is that these cars were not precision assembled, but there are a number of possible reasons for this. First thing first, however. Is this originally a big block car, or was the motor swapped in? If swapped, did you do it or did you buy it that way?
The most likely cause is that one of the rubber motor mounts has deteriorated or cracked This should be pretty obvious if you get under the car and look at them. The driver's side mount is the one normally under tension, so if it's broken, that could cause that side to sit up higher. If they are both good, then the next most likely cause is that one of either the motor or frame mounts is wrong. If you use one 2261 and one 2328 mount, then you'll get this problem.
