Ironically, at least this car has the stripes properly centered between the door opening and the wheel opening at the bottom of the stripe.

So is this what happens when your painter isn't familiar with a 68 and you give him dimensions based from edge of door and wheel well and not mention FRONT wheel well and LEADING edge of door?

I'm surprised you guys don't know this, but that is not a stripe. It is the new Chip Foose undercarriage protector strap that prevents your mufflers or driveshaft from hitting the ground if you mounts or universal breaks. I think it's only like $5 or $600.00 and he claims it adds to the look of any GM A body, not jut Olds.
