Saw the post of your trim tag. For review, here's what I saw.
ST 69 34487 OS 52814? BDY
TR 930 757510 PNT
12D D55 M21
You have a car that was made in Oshawa, Canada, and there is a source in Canada (others will chime in with the specifics so you can access it) that gives a lot of detail about your car, including what was on the original window sticker. Unfortunately, this service is available only to cars made in Canada. The cars made in the U.S.A. don't have this back-up available.
ST 69 = style/model year = 1969
34487: 3 = GM division = Oldsmobile; 44 = model series = 4-4-2; 87 = body type = holiday coupe
OS = assembly plant = Oshawa Canada
52814? = Fisher body number (has no relationship to the VIN; this number was assigned to the body by Fisher before it got to the assembly plant.
TR 930 = interior color & front seat type = black interior with bucket seats
757150 PNT = lower and upper body colors but I don't have the break on how the Canadian cars used this code. Someone else will chime in with the details.
12D = time build code = December (12), fourth week of that month (D), 1968. Your car was assembled around Christmas time.
D55 = option code = front compartment console
M21 = option code = close ratio 4-speed transmission.
With that transmission, if it is still original to your car, it would be interesting to discover the differential in your car. If the differential is original, I suspect it would be either a 3.42:1 or a 3.91:1 ratio. As well, it would be interesting to know if you have drum brakes all around or if it has the factory disc brakes up front.
