Cracked Frame?

Can someone look at the attachments and tell me if this frame on a 86 Cutlass has been repaired? It looks like it was cracked to me, but I'm not positive.

Looks like a normal factory weld joint to me. The curved box section is formed separately from the open channel side rails under the rockers and welded together.

FYI - maybe i am being overly cautious but I'd be a little suspicious of a post that uses a PDF instead of just picture.

The G bodys were known for rear frame rails rusting out up here in the rust-belt where I live. Yours looks very clean underneath though!

Unfortunately, G-body frames are not symmetric. The crossmember angles and the frame is contoured to match.

PDF files can contain viruses.
When
you open the PDF file, the malicious javascript get executed and install malware on your computer, all without you knowing it. Many people don't pay enough attention to the fact that PDF files can contain viruses and open them without scanning them.

I agree w/ John; however, there are MANY files which can contain a virus, trojan, malware, etc. - including image files. It's always best to exercise caution on any website and I can empathize with Al. The LLC dba Internet Brands websites do an admirable job of maintaining their websites, IMO. So much so, they specifically identify which files are accepted to be uploaded onto this CO site. Because a web-hosting organization clearly identifies which files are (only) acceptable for upload, this implies LLC dba Internet Brands performs due diligence in identifying and maintaining up-to-date antivirus & antimalware definition files on their servers & websites - this is good solid webhosting acumen. Any files which fall outside of the files identified below, are not acceptable for upload.
