frame damage

Exclamation frame damage

i was using a uhaul and i noticed that the car had a tow bar on the back its a 1972 cutlass s and i looked underneath and i noticed that the bumper was lower on the right side and on the frame by the gass take and past the rear end more towards the back the frame was cracked a little... can i get it wellded to make it stronger?

Look in the for sale section here. There is a member in Canada that has 6 of these frames available in the Detroit area.

A good collision shop should be able to do some tweaks on it and weld the cracks if you do not wish to replace the frame.

the frame can be welded and it'll be as good as new.

just be sure the frame is 100% straight after the repair.

Well I would make sure it doesn't have any rust issue first. Then take it to a collision shop and have them straighten the frame and weld it.
