Convertible Top cleaner

Hi Everyone,
I was wondering what a good convertible top cleaner would be. Brand name or home made. My top is not bad, but would like to keep it nice.
Thanks for the help.

I have used saddle soap with very good results and it will not dry out the material. No matter what you use try to keep it off of the paint, especially cleaners with bleach will stain the paint.

When mine gets real crusty I use Oxie clean, works good for me. My top is white and about 17 years old, no problems so far, looks as good as it did when installed. If it isn't to bad just dusty I use Meguires gold car wash same as I use on the rest of the car...... Tedd

I have used Simple Green before. Like Tedd and most of us, my top never gets really dirty. I have used a product before called Ragg Topp. It has a cleaner and a protectant. It is pretty pricey. I found Formula 303 Convertible Top Kit to be just as good and less expensive although still not cheap. Amazon has it for $29.95. It includes the cleaner and protectant.

What color top do you have? Mine's white, so I tried a product called "Bleche Wite" (Bleach White). It worked great.

Mine is white as well. I will check it out. Is it available at places like auto-zone, advance auto, pep-boys, ect.? or do I have to get it online?

I do have some slight stains on the top, just hoping I could remove them. As far as I know it's the original top.

I've heard that it is available in stores, just not around me. I bought it online from Amazon. Worked great. Removed the dinginess and the small stains. Also, made the white of the top really pop.

Bleche White used to be made by Westley's but is now made by Black Magic. It doesn't smell the same and isn't as potent. I used to get it to keep white letter tires from looking brown but it leaves them dingy. I currently use Ajax or Comet for white letter tires. Also, I assume it will ruin your paint if it gets on there since it will take the clear coat off wheels. I'd be very careful using it on a top.
I've been using this on my 67 Cutlass top.

I have used plain water most of the time, Bleachwhite for tough stains - also works great on the parade boot. I want to try the product above Griots, I have used some of their products and they are great.

The top on my Camaro is fairly good. (Still white, but some very small slight stains.), The top on my 442 is a little off white (Dirty). I don't really like to use chemicals if I don't have to, but if it will bring my 442 top back to white I'm willing to take a chance.
Thank you everyone for you're help & advice. I will try the non-chemical approach 1st, then go from there.
