Just picked this unit up yesterday. It's a real 64 442 Conv.,frame off restored.


















Actually bought 3 cars,a 66 442 3X2 HDT frame off and a 64 Cutlass Conv. driver with a 67 442 running gear. The 64 is still out of state and the 66 is @ a buddy's who may buy it. I'll post pictures of the 66 when I get them.

A real 1964 442 will only come with a 4 speed.
Did you get it from a gentleman name Bill ?

Yes they all came from a deceased friend of mine. He told his wife when time came to move the collection to contact me. There was also a huge load of NOS & used parts. I take no great pleasure in getting the collection but it was going to somebody.

 

Gene, I'm gonna go ahead and guess that '66 3X2 is probably sophisticated enough not to be taken in by a '64 4-4-2 with an automatic transmission.

DING DING DING,we have a winner.. I will post more pictures when I have time. This car is sweet,very sweet and it needs some TLC but nothing I can't handle.

 

69442rag I'm sure he knew a true 442 but as i'm sure you read 67442nut ask the question of auto or 4speed. So that is why I posted the fact.

About the roses... mine peaked out about two weeks ago. But hey I'm in MO. There here and they're gone in a couple or three weeks.
