My personal opinion is to stay away from capped lug nuts! With age the cap always starts to spin free of the nut and causes big headaches.
The are a lot of companies that offer solid lug nuts.
I have replaced capped nuts on 2 of my daily drivers with solid nuts from a company called White Knight and have been very happy with the way the chrome plating is holding up,these cars are even driven in Chicago area winters.
Also I have heard about problems with WV wheels being soft and the lug hole being smashed from the lug nuts. In one of the threads Oldcutlass left a link to you will see mention of lug seats from Old School Plating,I used these as a fix for some enlarged holes in factory SSI wheels with great success. If I were using WV wheels I would get the lug seats and use them just to protect the seats on the new wheels.

Solids....USA made of course! These have been with the car since 1986. Was running SS3s then until 2 years ago. Keep them waxed. I use a deep Snap-on 6 point socket and never use the impact.
