Well not in a barn but isn’t that what I’m suppose to say?
recently picked up a 67 442 which had been parked in the original owners driveway for about 40 years…still trying to figure out the last time it was on the road
has 39 thousand showing on the odo, has Firestone cheater slicks, still holding air! One has a huge bulge in the sidewall but still holding air.
kinda rare color combo…red body and interior with white vinyl top. 12 bolt 3:23 posi, console, rally dash,
very original. Carb, engine, trans, rear, distributor, most paint and white stripe along top of fender and door is still there but faded. He added a single cold air intake on the passenger side to the carb
the original owner is in his late 70’s and going blind so finally let it go….I’ll post some pics of us picking it up

Firestone had "Firestone Drag 500" on them and I think may have been white letters. Casler used most any brand for the recaps, as I recall. Anyone who was doing serious racing used M &H Racemasters, Goodyear and Firestone. "Back in the day" Mickey Thompson and Casler made marginal traction tires, mostly good on the street.
Don't they look like recaps to you ?

To me it also sure looks like it was done by Firestone as the tires have the “Firestone Quality” paint stamp logo on the recap , not on the original carcus. That’s why it’s so far out on the diameter.

You still have snow? I thought our hairspray warmed the globe?? I am so confused.
What a cool cool car. I love seeing cool cars go to cool people. No price on that. Check those original wheels in the front. I am a 67. I want a 67 Olds someday. Factory louvered hood? Only Oldsmobile. No other car company ever did that. That car is All me.

never said they weren’t recaps, because they are. That’s clear in pic #1 where you can see they ground down the original tire and the recap is added
