Saffron 67 442 from Florida

A buddy just acquired a Saffron/Black vinyl roof, black bucket interior with console, 67 442 . Came from Florida. Now has a 330 four barrel with automatic, air, disk brakes. Was missing the rear sway bar. Has a non working tic-toc-tak. Looks like someone took a stored car body and revived it somewhat. Anybody know this car?

Sounds like a Cutlass not a 442

Is it a 2 speed or 3 speed trans?

Is it a 5V car or not? It's doubtful that a car in FL would be from Fremont (though not impossible).

It is a real 5V on the firewall plate. Correct paint color and interior. Just looks like the car has had an engine transplant. Was missing the rear sway bar but had correct boxed trailing arms. Not sure if it has a T400. the owner says it shifts three times but it could be the switch pitch.

OK, so the engine was swapped. Not unheard of. My 69 H/O had a 1971 350 motor in it for a while when the 455 threw a rod.

Just verified the trans is a 400. Has a shift kit along with a recent rebuild. Car will be for sale.
