I cant believe I cannot find a leftover or used chrome air cleaner for a rochester 4 gc carb. GM used these carbs on almost everything from the mid 50's to the mid 60's. Where did they all go?

No one makes air cleaners only for the small diameter air horns any more. Instead, everyone simply uses an adapter ring like Mr. Gasket P/N 2082, about $6 at Summit.

The quadrajet came out in 1965 I believe. That was 50 years ago. That pretty much tells the story. That and the fact that most of this stuff rusted and guys just threw it away. No doubt there is still a little bit out there but not much. If you find one it is probably going to be a little beat up and rusted. I would plan on using the adapter Joe mentioned.

I just sold the last one I had, had it listed in parts for sale for a while, Mine was from a 60 Cad but Olds used the same one, Good luck.
