AC Delco PF45 oil filter
I have four of these filters new in the box and cannot for my life remember what they fit. I think 307 which means I've had them 25 years or longer, since last 307 car I had got totaled in Sept 97.
ACD has consolidated this part # several times so the online application guides and cross-references are less than useless. Anyone know what they fit?

You got it. 1978-1989 260/307/350/403 Olds V8 and 350 Olds Diesel plus some late 70s', early 80s Caddys, 425, 4.1 and 368. GM p/n 25010324. They're the "skinnier" filters than the 77 and earlier. The gasket runs right around the outer edge of the filter. The can is smaller diameter than your typical Olds filter. I think it got superseded about 25 years ago by the PF58, then to PF61, PF61E, PF61F. We all know the laters versions aren't all that and a bag of chips.

I'll add that while you CAN install an earlier large-diameter filter on the later V8s, the trans cooler lines need to be bent a little to clear. I did this on one of my 307s when I didn't have a small diameter filter to install.
