70 headlight surround to grill bolt or screw

I cannot find any reference pictures of what connects the headlight surrounds and grills on a 70 442. Is it a bolt/nut combo, or pan head screw with a clip? And what size?

Thanks

1/4" x whatever length (3/4" at least) Pan Philips head screws - 3 of them. Some folks say black finish and others say silver zinc/cad. You can also get them in stainless if you prefer that (Lowe's, etc). No nuts, etc used....the screws should have a coarse/sheet metal thread and they self-threaded the grill plastic when installed.

Thanks Patton, I should have mentioned that these are repops. I believe that there is a bigger hole in the grills, according to some of the threads I saw last night, where I will need to do something on the bottom end. I will need to check with the Body shop.

However, you at least gave me the correct size.

Troy - If that's the case then you can get a 1/4" "flat nut" (technically called a spring nut). Also available at Lowe's if your Lowes has the fastener selection that includes the big metal boxes with the pull out drawers for the more specialized stuff..

You'll need to be able to get one hand on the backside of each hole to hold the spring nut in place. These will slightly dig into the underside of the plastic but don't CRANK THEM DOWN hard. No need to distort the plastic, etc.
