My 70 w-30 their a little smaller than my fathers 442.
His was made in N.J. Ive seen a couple other cars that the top of the grills sag down or are also smaller than some..

Was there different size grills made? Sun/ heat exposure? Or aftermarket ones alittle taller?

The ones on my car are 3/4inch shorter, than my fathers 442.

 

All of the originals were the same. Most have sagged in the middle after all these years. I have been able to heat the entire grill up over a wood stove and mold them back. Takes a lot of time and a lot of patients.

 

Thanks, thats what i thought. My car was from down south and the grills are saggy.
