65 grill color question

The two little pieces to the left and right side of the grill underneath the headlight should they be black or silver like to grill? Thanks Brandon

Brandon,
The answer to your question is, "It depends". Is this a 4-4-2? If yes, the bars are blacked out, except for the one that goes across with the "Oldsmobile" script on it. If it is not, all of the bars are painted argent. L8r

Actually they are a dull aluminum color. I used to find it in spray cans that was called dull aluminum. It was a perfect match to factory paint color.
